  Working with John Peterson and Schmidt Brothers Roofing on the replacement of my roof due to hail damage was an excellent experience. John took the time to examine my entire roof for additional problem areas and made recommendations for repairs beyond the roof (flashing, window wraps, etc) that would prevent future problems. The work crew was expert and friendly. The work was top quality. And after they cleaned up, I didn’t even find one stray nail on the ground. John went above and beyond for me, answering my many questions, helping me understand insurance and working directly with my insurance company on questions and supplements needed. I highly recommended working with Schmidt Brothers Roofing and John Peterson if you’re in need of roofing.

  After seeing hail damage to our roof we contacted Koster at Schmidt Brothers and were very happy with how they did the job.
The guys did a great job
Koster came when he said he would (even early!). If he WAS running late, he would call us. If he didn’t answer his phone, he would always call back in a timely matter.
To us that is a big thing!!
They cleaned up after they did the job and Koster was there to make sure everything was okay.

  We moved to our house in January 2021 and had the cedar shingles and skylights replaced. In 2022 a hailstorm destroyed the roof and skylights, so Schmidt brothers came back and redid the entire roof.  They were professional, on time and FAST.  Done in a day and a half on our over 4000 square foot home.  I would recommend them to anyone.  Everyone working with us was respectful and friendly.
